LEC’s approach to Phase I and Phase II Site Assessments goes beyond the requirements set out in ASTM standards E1527 and E1528 “Standard Practice For Environmental Site Assessments.” By doing so, we satisfy the “due diligence” requirements and qualify the site owner for the innocent landowner defense to CERCLA liability, assuring our clients have the most defensible evaluation available anywhere. That is why LEC has been trusted to conduct investigations on hundreds of sites across Alabama and the Southeastern United States.LEC has experience in dealing with various types of Phase I and Phase II projects ranging in size, scope, and complexity. Examples include commercial and industrial facilities, small and large acreage tracts of land, and multi-facility complexes. These have included shopping centers, industrial warehouse facilities, abandoned petroleum storage tank facilities and office buildings. We have also performed numerous Phase I and related surveys for large and small undeveloped parcels.
